Tracey Elder, teacher:

"There was really the expectation that each week one narrative assessment would come about and that has just been ongoing because I think the teachers are taking that on board and see how relevant the assessment is for their classroom practices and are producing some of them, even more than really is required. In fact, I had to ask one teacher to stop."

Kathryn Blakie, teacher:

"And I think in that case, the teacher takes notes and photos and then in her release time she writes them up and puts them in the form of the narrative – actual form. But her teacher aide now runs parallel to that narrative and does photo story. So, there’s always a narrative and photo story to go with each one."
