"We felt that we needed to marry the two up, that narrative assessment had to become part of the IEP in forming the goals in the narrative assessment."

Kathryn Blakie, teacher:

"But the first term was the teachers just trying out themselves to write the narratives, and then as I think the teachers started taking – but as the teachers started taking the narratives to IEPs (meetings), it became obvious that the parents were having more success in an IEP (meeting) from looking at it all."
